Job Functions:

• Participate in the design, development, and manufacturing of leading-edge medical devices and instrumentation
• Generate design specifications, concept models, and detailed manufacturing drawings for new and existing products and processes
• Perform and document design verification and process validation protocols in support of design and development activities
• Develop, evaluate and improve current manufacturing methods
• Design effective fixtures for manufacturing of new product lines
• Develop solutions to technical problems of varying scope and impact

Experience and skills required:

• A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years of manufacturing or design experience is required.
• Experience working with SolidWorks or demonstrated ability to learn CAD applications is required.
• Design experience within the medical device or other highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to allow effective participation in project teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
