SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Responsible for performing a variety of routine customer transactions. Represents the bank to the customer in a courteous manner, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF Major Duties: Perform routine customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; cash checks within approval limit; maintain and control an assigned cash box; balance cash and work at day’s end; order and verify exchanges of cash with main cash vault; redemption/sale of savings bonds; perform additional duties as required.
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong customer service skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers; ability to pay attention to detail.
Prior Experience REQUIRED: High school education or equivalent; cash handling and customer service experience preferred. Please note hours are 9:00 am to 2:30 pm and Saturdays.
