PROGRAM MANAGER
Manage C4I Communications programs in McLean, VA. This position is ideal for someone with Military experience in the USMC or U.S. Army with a background in CECOM, PM Battle Command or PEO Aviation interested in performing a customer facing position.

Responsibilities include:

1.      Overall program leadership with full responsibility for program success.

2.      Support of the business area operational and financial performance goals. Responsible for program profit and loss.

3.      Monitors performance for assigned programs and generates reports for program management reviews.

4.      Maintains programmatic SOW, IMP/IMS, BOEs, and BOMs.

5.      Supports bids and proposals as required.

6.      Ensures all program actions are ITAR/TAA/DSP-5 compliant.

7.      Executes programs utilizing Earned Value Management Systems concepts (EVMS) as well as other company wide business metrics that are generally found in a software development company.

Qualifications:

• 
  
  Strong experience with FM, SATCOM and HF communications along with command and control systems (FBCB2, BFT, C2PC, MCSLite)
  
  
• 
  
  Experience managing Type I and II, AES and Suite B encryption programs with CECOM and NSA is most preferred.
  
  
• 
  
  Experience managing programs/business relationships with foreign partners/suppliers
  
  
• 
  
  Experience in business development with the U.S. Government preferred (especially, DOD, U.S.M.C, U.S. Army)
  
  
• 
  
  Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  
  
• 
  
  Above average ability to correspond effectively in writing and in person and must be comfortable working in a matrixed organization as well as a diverse working group.
  
  
• 
  
  Above average organizational skills and the ability to negotiate win-win solutions when differences of opinion arise are required.
  
  
• 
  
  Budget / Finance experience is required and aptitude for reading, understanding and answering for program cost / schedule.
  
  
• 
  
  Educational background in systems engineering, software engineering or electrical engineering is not required, but is a major plus.
  
  
• 
  
  Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
  
  
• 
  
  Current Secret Level clearance is a plus, but is not required.
