Risk Manager - Part Time  

In this role, the Risk Manager is responsible for the coordination and integration of the hospital-wide risk management programs to ensure an interdisciplinary approach that effectively reduces or mitigates any harm to patients, visitors, and staff Risk Manager will report to the Director of Quality Management. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Mange the incident reporting system to effectively manage timely and accurate investigations, reporting and response to events, complete internal/external reports regarding  patient/facility events to remain in compliance with external regulations, maintaining databases, analysis of incident report data to identify and respond to opportunities for improvement, committee team member as appropriate on hospital wide initiatives, and participates in investigations as needed to respond to issues.

Requirements:
-Minimum of 5 years of Clinical experience in a hospital setting
-Prior exposure to Quality Management initiatives
-Familiar with regulatory body(s)
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment
-Able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
-Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite)
-Strong ability to work with numbers

RN Degree, Current MA Licensure Strongly preferred
