ULTRASOUND SONOGRAPHER (extremely critical need)

Peabody,MA

Day Shift  

Our client a well respected hospital in the greater Peabody,MA area has asked that we search for an ULTRASOUND  TECHNOLOGIST with OB/GYN expertise. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. The Ultrasound Medical Sonographer is responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment. This individual is motivated to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. 

Requirements:

Two years of formal radiologic technology training and one year of formal diagnostic medical sonography training, or Two years of diagnostic medical sonography training.

3-5 years of OB/GYN 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester experience strongly preferred
Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS), or registry eligible in abdominal and obstetrical/gynecological specialties.
Good interpersonal skills.
