Inside Sales / Business Development Coordinator




Responsibilities:






  • Primary responsibility of the Business Development Coordinator is to act as proactive sales support (inside sales) to the Account Executives, i.e. prospecting, profiling, lead qualification, and data entry; and maintenance, retention, liaise with auditor engineer and marketing on special initiatives and campaigns approved by the Business Development Director.

  • Act as a Project Coordinator for selected Strategic Accounts within Management Systems as needed as well as customer service.

  • Must be able to meet at a minimum performance expectations (MBO’s which will include both qualitative and quantitative measurements), established number of warm calls relative to specific campaigns or activities, initial lead follow-up calls from all lead sources and available research software.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, spreadsheets, and other forecasting data to enhance accountability of the sales process model.

  • Must become proficient in research software (provided) to search strategic account intelligence, new business segment mailings, etc. with the support of the Sales Director and Marketing Manager

  • Monitor lead generation and effectiveness; report on AE follow up time on qualified leads and opportunities in tracking database.

  • Assist Account Executives in the collection of market and competitive intelligence, and report findings to Marketing, and Business Development Director within their assigned unit.

  • Monitoring activities through MIS systems i.e. updating Business Development Team of any changes and upgrades.

  • Expanding customer base by researching media for potential new clients and future business opportunities.

  • Take direction and support the Business Development Director.



 




Qualification and Skills:






  • College degree preferred. BA preferred.

  • Strong written and oral communications.

  • Ability to grasp new concepts and technical information to execute support responsibilities.

  • Capable of presenting information to groups of people using power point

  • Must be a team player and a self-starter who can plan, organize, and complete multiple projects while giving attention  to detail and deadlines.

  • Motivation, initiative, and commitment to self-improvement.
