Participate as a member of a treatment team in a residential program to meet the social, recreational, behavioral, and educational needs of children exhibiting emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Plan, implement, and participate in social and recreational activities for children. Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu that meets the physical and emotional needs of children. Implement treatment protocols established by a multi-disciplinary team.
Attend to the administrative functions of child care, including attending treatment meetings, writing reports, and actively participating in supervision and professional development opportunities offered at Walker.
Compensation is based on education and related experience. compensation is commensurate with related experience and education. High School Diploma or equivalent required. BA degree in human service or related field preferred.
Experience working with children a plus.
