Service Delivery Manager
We are growing and we’re currently looking for a motivated professional to join our team as a Service Delivery Manager in our Consulting & Technology Services (CTS) practice operating out of our Lincoln, RI office.
Overview
We are looking for a motivated leader. The Service Manager for the CTS practice will work as a “right hand” to the division’s Director and will deliver world-class services and solutions for Custom’s clients. This key person will be responsible for directly managing and overseeing the daily operations including: project delivery and business development administration as well as other divisional operations and logistics.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record of successfully managing mid to large scale IT projects and have extensive experience with project methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities include:
· Ensuring the successful implementation of products and services at new and existing clients, by creating and executing appropriate implementation plans.
· Proactively communicating issues to the appropriate audiences and taking corrective actions.
· Understanding clients’ specific needs, and unique business climates and industry trends affecting project success.
· Managing professional services delivery from definition through execution, measurement and reporting of results and key performance indicators
· Serving as the conduit for collaboration between technical and sales departments.
· Serving as the focal point for project staffing, and operations during the delivery of a project.
· Overseeing Project Management and ensure that projects
are delivered on-time and within budget
· Assisting in determining technical and manpower requirements, schedules, & budgets
· Measuring and analyzing project performance regarding technical progress, schedules, budgets, utilization and realization
· Service reporting, including key performance/goal indicators
· Coordinating process development and implementation. - Infuse lessons learned.
· Maintaining active communication with clients and other teams to manage expectations ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
· Overseeing key services contracts and client satisfaction
· Meeting or exceed revenue goals and profit margins
Requirements for this position include:
A minimum 8 years of project management experience including a demonstrated ability to deliver solutions/projects to external clients on time and within budget ensuring client satisfaction.
· Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture.
· Demonstrated track record of exceeding established goals on a consistent basis.
· Experience and demonstrated success working with clients to develop and implement technical solutions.
· Strong client interaction, interpersonal and leadership skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proven success in managing technical and project teams.
· Formal project management training and/or PMI certification a plus
· Extensive experience with project plan development
· “Big” consulting experience a plus
· Knowledge of the Federal Erate Program, processes and requirements a plus
· K-12 Education experience a plus

Education requirements:
An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
The position requires up to 15% travel.
