Jetro / Restaurant Depot is a privately held company doing business as two distinct but similar types of wholesale cash and carry warehouses located nationwide and open seven days a week.

Restaurant Depot has been serving independent foodservice operators consisting primarily of caterers, pizzerias, restaurants and delicatessens. Restaurant Depot's cash and carry warehouses currently are located in the states of Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Restaurant Depot's product assortment includes foodservice groceries, fresh meat and produce, provisions, frozen food, glassware and china, catering and bar supplies, foodservice equipment, paper, plastic and cleaning supplies.

Jetro Cash and Carry, founded in 1976, serves a combination of independent retail food stores and independent foodservice businesses from warehouses in New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Long Beach and Oakland. Although Jetro primarily sells dry groceries, candy, frozen food, beverages, cigarettes and health and beauty care that are resold in retail stores, its warehouses also stock a broad assortment of fresh meat and produce, provisions, dairy products, foodservice foods, paper goods and disposables.

We're looking to hire a CUSTOMER SERVICE/INSIDE SALES person to work in the Foodservice industry (equipment and supplies) handling multiple markets throughout the country to maket and grow our customer base.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing customer service by addressing customer concerns and identifying customer needs/wants.
Taking, entering, processing and tracking customer orders.
Answering the phone, and stocking inventory.

Qualifications:

Some foodservice industry preferred
Equipment and supplies experience a plus
Must be enthusiastic & self driven
Strong relationship building skills.
Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal and written ) .
Ability to manage time efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills.
Basic Computer skills ( working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook )
Some knowledge of website design a plus.
