Family and Community Solutions, in partnership with Walker, is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist for a flexible, 30 hour/week position in an acute residential setting (hospital diversion).  Work with an excellent team of seasoned clinical staff.  Walker treats severely mentally ill and abused children ages 3 -11 years old,  is located in Needham on acres of peaceful, beautiful grounds, and provides a range of therapeutic services for children.  Come join our hard-working team and make a real difference in a child's life.  The position is benefits eligible.

Qualifications:

• Massachusetts licensed RN, Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/Mental Health or Board Certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

• A minimum of 2 years experience providing psychopharmacology management to young children in an inpatient or residential setting.

• Strong assessment skills and comfort working in a fast paced team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience with electronic medical records or excellent computer skills required.
