SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing Sales Associate duties and providing supervision to Sales Associates. This position is also responsible for monitoring registers and ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Provides cashier and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Monitors registers for accuracy. Handles store credits, corrects register voids and errors. Handles customer objections and complaints.
Under the direction of the Store Manager, merchandises store by color, size, season. Decides which classifications to pull each week by color and quantity. Does inventory control.
Acts as Store Manager during Manager’s absence by supervising store staff and directing floor activities, monitoring registers, assisting customers and completing daily sales report.
Directs housekeeping activities by assigning duties and helps as necessary.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma, GED preferred or equivalent experience. Previous retail experience necessary. Must be able to speak and understand English.
