The Reporting Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing analysis and reporting to support the business strategies of the Covidien National Accounts (Group Purchasing Organizations and Integrated Delivery Networks) team and the divisional Sales and Marketing Management teams. This individual should posses the ability to evaluate processes for continued improvement and efficiency, be able to develop more advanced types of ad-hoc reporting, be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. General responsibilities include the following:

-Dedicated reporting and analytical support for assigned internal customers

-Work with query/reporting tools to develop analyses in response to ad-hoc requests

-Understand and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure proper payments to end customers

-Assist Manager in the development of new reports, processes and systems as needed


Requirements:

Background Preferred:
-Bachelors Degree required

-3-5 years experience in reporting and analysis preferred

-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Access or other relational database applications

-Aptitude for understanding files/fields used in reporting, with the ability to apply to ad-hoc requests

-Strong written and verbal communication skills
