SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, applicant will be responsible for producing various highly technical Electo-Optical Sensor systems in areas of sub-assembly build, testing, qualifying and final system integration in end product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assembly, alignment and testing of optical assemblies to fulfill the output Kanban requirements.
2. Testing of optics assemblies using interferograms, optical alignment telescopes, alignment fixtures and auto collimators, oscilloscopes, multimeters and electronic test fixtures.
3. Responsible for supporting field service, production and engineering as pertains to optical problems.
4. Create and/or participate in assembly/test procedure creation and review as required using FLIR approved forms and methodology.
5. Responsible for completing the necessary paperwork related to material movement.

AA Degree or Equivalent, minimum of 6 years as Electro-Optical Technician and ability to work within a team environment.
• Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.)
• Electronic skills - Able to verify correct wiring / basic functionality of various sub-assemblies and completed chassis and controllers.
• Able to read and write in English
• Able to understand and work from Electro-Mechanical schematics and diagrams.
• Basic Cleanroom protocol knowledge
• Handling ESD sensitive hardware (ESD certification required)
• Use of metrology equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators, Digital Multi-meters, Oscilliscopes, Optical Collimators)
• Soldering and Wiring to IPC WHMA 620 A (must have or be able to achieve certification)
