About the Job
Frugal Fannies is a large warehouse store open to the public Wednesday through Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are closed to the public for restocking. Our specialty is fashionable, current season famous maker and designer women’s apparel including coats, dresses, suits, collections, swimwear, sportswear, and shoes. Our prices are always at least 20% to 50% lower than department and specialty stores. With our opportunistic special purchases and “mall store and sample buy-outs” the savings are even greater.
We are looking for an energetic person with strong leadership qualities who has the ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Responsibilities
- Manage general retail management functions for approximately 80 employees including: employment, staffing, training, development, motivation, employee relations
- Ensure full compliance to labor laws and company policy
- Leads by example and demonstrates consistency between words and actions
- Assists the Store Manager in the daily activity of the sales floor
- Supervise store security and safety
- Ensure a positive customer experience
Requirements
- High School graduate with 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a human resource and/or merchandising capacity
- Minimum knowledge required includes: supervisory and leadership skills in retail management, basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations, effective oral and written communication skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills
- The ability to work quickly and accurately is critical, as the nature of the job is usually very fast paced
- Full time flexible schedule required
