We are currently looking for an HVAC Technician/Maintenance Mechanic.  This individual will assist with internal preventive maintenance and repair in manufacturing facility. This position requires knowledge and experience in the following areas:  HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, snow removal, use of common hand/power tools, and painting.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance field (not janitorial/custodial).
• 3-5 years of experience in HVAC systems, including exposure to large facility/industrial HVAC systems.
• HVAC/R training/certifications preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints/electrical and HVAC plans and diagrams.
• Must be familiar with electrical, plumbing and local building codes.
• Must be able to perform thermal studies of facility.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs., routinely do heavy lifting, and work in inclement weather.
• Must be able to climb ladders, transport heavy/hazardous materials and work in small or confined spaces.
• Must have valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must be punctual, able to sustain attendance guidelines, and work hours as assigned.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
