Senior Web Designer/Art Director

About the Job

Position Summary:

 

The Senior Web Designer/Art Director is responsible for managing our Web site www.keurig.com and related special projects.  The Sr. Web Designer is a hands-on leader driving new site design and development, enhancements and integration efforts across our platform.

 

The Senior Web Designer/Art Director is a key driver in the Consumer Direct team at Keurig and must successfully interface with the VP, Direct staff, IT, Customer Service and our external partners.  This individual is the company Web expert, responsible for providing an optimal e-commerce experience.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

 

  • Web Designer as well as additional staff hired to support the department’s anticipated growth.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Maximizes user experience and conversions for brewers, K-Cups and Accessories on Keurig.com by providing a Web experience that is: 1) engaging, 2) easy to navigate, and 3) compelling - leading to a purchase decision or lead form completion. 
  • Design graphics and codes pages for website.
  • Provides creative and technical direction to junior staff.
  • Manages site and its associated tools, including Web traffic package.
  • Provides leadership and direction on usability and technology to improve the user experience and adhere to best practices.
  • Analyzes key Web data and makes data-driven decisions.
  • Manages key Web projects to continuously evolve our online business.
  • Responsible for the professional development of the Web Designer as well as additional staff hired to support the department’s anticipated growth.
  • Responsible for communication, interviewing and hiring, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, leveraging team and individual strengths, managing performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems to ensure high performance results.
  • Evaluates and works on the continuous improvement of the department/team, creating a positive environment conducive to learning - where people want to do their best.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required with relevant concentration.
  • Must have 4-6 years of Web design experience in an e-commerce setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Web site design practices, processes, & tools (including Adobe suite)
  • Expertise in HTML/ASP/ASPX/CSS.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our business best practices.
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to follow Keurig policies and procedures.
