REQUIRMENTS/SKILLS:
Able to work in a fast pace environment and perform quality service on vehicles. Technicians must posses their own tools. Must be able to withstand the physical demands such as standing for long periods of time, bending at the knees, and twisting and bending at the waist. Must be able to perform tasks that require repetitive hand and arm motions. Must be able to lift tools, equipment and auto parts up to 50 Ibs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
• Responsible to service customer and dealer owned vehicles.
• Responsible to diagnose and repair the source of the vehicle problem accurately.
• Tasks include but are not limited to: Major repairs as assigned by Service Advisor or Service Manager, oil changes, change, balance, and rotate tires. Check and fill automotive
fluids, perform minor automotive repairs.
• State inspections (if licensed)
• Return a clean vehicle to customer
• Dispose of all used parts, and fluids in a proper and safe manner.
• End of day work area must be cleaned, and floor swept and washed.
• Employees are responsible for adhering to all safety procedures.
• Must meet GM training standards by completing assigned courses.
