We are currently looking for a Programmer I. In this position the Programmer I will:
· Develop and test ASP programs to meet project requirements;
· Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems or questions about existing ASP and HTML programs;
· Learn and effectively utilize department and company wide Standard Operating Procedures;
· Meets project driven deadlines;
· Assist in maintenance and enhancement to core ADEPT code.
Qualifications:
· A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required. A year or more of web or database programming experience is preferred;
· Strong communication skills to be used with technical and non-technical colleagues are required;
· Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines;
· Solid troubleshooting skills;
· Ability to work and produce results without close supervision;
· Strong JavaScript skills are required. Familiarity with ASP and server-side Jscript is preferred;
· Experience with PL/SQL, Oracle 10g Ajax, object oriented programming and/or .net experience would be a plus;
· Previous experience with writing and executing test plans would be helpful, along with previous experience programming for a public health research project.
