Job Description:

 

Softscape is looking for an energetic, seasoned sale professional. This position requires selling experience with web based business and/or portal products, and workflow or business process management solutions to achieve goal sheet objectives.

 

The ideal candidate has experience initiating sales, developing existing accounts, and managing relationships partners in large government organization and commercial accounts in a territory and working under general direction in higher risk accounts, more difficult, complex or competitive situations. The Account Executive must be comfortable with establishing and cultivating high level and executive level relationships.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • For each account, establish effective relationships with decision makers and key influencers.
  • Understand the account’s business goals and objectives as it applies to the use of Softscape technology. 
  • Advocate for the account by resolving their issues and representing their needs to internal Softscape departments. 
  • Ensure 100% account satisfaction
  • Establish an effective sales strategy for each account and lead sales campaigns to expand the use of Softscape technology and services within the account
  • Develop and maintain Sales Account Plans
  • Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives
  • Accurate forecasting based upon realistic opportunity assessments
  • Clear understanding of Softscape’s sales process, professional services methodologies and support policies
  • Effective verbal and written communication of Softscape company, product and service value propositions
  • Manage and prioritize opportunities
  • Create Value Propositions focused on business change and ROI
  • Develop effective responses to RFPs
  • Sell multi-million dollar software and service contracts for ERP, HCM, CRM and/or supply chain applications
  • Advise clients on complex change management implementations of a year or more

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as an outside Account Executive for an enterprise software company.
  • Proven ability to make and exceed goal commitments.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Experience developing and maintaining a sales account plan.
  • A proven track record of consistently closing new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrable skills for qualifying prospects and matching Softscape offerings with customer needs.
  • Good listening, consultative selling practices, exploratory information gathering techniques and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills are essential. Must be an effective time manager.
  • Able to obtain the purchase order from the customer.
  • Experience developing effective responses to RFPs.
  • PC literacy -- including Internet, Windows, Outlook and contact management software.
  • Able to travel as required

 

Preferred Background/Experience:

  • BS or BA in a computer or information technology-related field.
  • Human Resources solution selling and value selling experience.
  • Rolodex of potential business prospects.
