General Summary:

The ideal candidate will be an action oriented, results driven self starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in assembly line supervision, warehousing and success at implementing improvement initiatives essential. Must possess a working knowledge of the ISO Quality System. A background in electronics assembly and/or cable and harness manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities:  

§         Assist Planning with scheduling and production floor resource allocation to meet customer requirements. Coordinate stockroom, kitting, production and shipping activities daily.

§         Respond to work order changes, Sales requests, and priority shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.

§         Provide Warehouse (Stockroom) Inventory accuracy, consolidation and maintenance.

§         Supervise Receiving and Shipping functions.

§         Evaluate workforce on skill level / capabilities and administer training as required.

§         Schedule production. Review Work orders for accuracy, assess and assign resources to complete work- load according to scheduled completion and shipment arrival dates.

§         Monitor Labor Standards and adjust resources accordingly.

§         Work closely with Quality to ensure compliance with production procedures and processes.

§         Provide Continuous Improvement Initiative support and feedback.

§         Ensure adherence to Company/Division Policies and Procedures.

§         Facility upkeep and on-going maintenance.

§         Ensure compliance to Corporate Safety Programs and initiatives.

§         Assist the Division Manager and Department Supervisors with Special Projects.

Qualifications:

§         Position requires a minimum of 3-5 years work experience in assembly, preferably in an ISO certified environment.

§         Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership capacity.

§         Minimum of a High School diploma required (some college desired).

§         Strong command of the English language (multi-lingual a plus) with excellent writing and verbal skills.

§         Must be computer literate (MS Windows, familiar with MS Word and Excel).

§         Ability to perform multiple tasks including supervising various process areas and material movement activity simultaneously.
