PART-TIME SCHEDULER

We are currently seeking a part-time Scheduler.  This unique, newly created position will spend approximately 20 hours scheduling patients. Neurocare requires a confident self-starter with a solid work ethic and great communication skills. This position is based at our headquarters in Newton, MA.

 

The Scheduler works as part of a team with responsibility for providing customer service to a wide range of clients and patients within a busy clinical setting.

 

Primary duties include:

·         Assisting with answering phones

·         Scheduling/coordinating patient appointments and providing patient education to ensure maximum efficiency and patient attendance

·         Interacting with patients, physicians and others to provide information regarding the registration and appointment process, services available, or to address specific needs and resolve concerns

·         Proactively identifying problems and resolving inquiries and issues of all kinds

·         Entering data with meticulous attention to accuracy

·         Maintaining a cooperative and sensitive “teamwork” attitude when dealing with management, colleagues and patients

·         Additional administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to filing, faxing, copying, etc.

 

Hours for this position are as follows:

Tuesday – Friday: 4:00 – 8:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 – 1:00 PM

 

Qualifications:

·         Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required; Access experience preferred

·         Customer service experience required

·         Insurance knowledge strongly preferred

·         High level of organization, communication and administrative expertise

·         Exceptional telephone manner

·         Superior verbal and written communication, reflecting enthusiasm and professionalism

·         Dependability, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, problem solve and follow-through are essential

·         Bachelor’s preferred; high school diploma required

·         Medical background not necessary but preferable
