DSC’s Field teams represent the company’s foundation.  Currently we are interviewing for a Customer Account Representative for our Boston South, MA branch office. 

 

Qualified candidates should possess a mix of proven skills and abilities from their career which include:

  • Ability to quickly adapt to change and random spikes in work load
  • Solid communication skills with a strong appreciation for high customer service levels

Position Summary and Balance of expectations

 

Branch Transactions and Business Flow (70%)

  • The timely input of new loan transactions as generated by customer base and third party vendors.
  • Daily data input and system coding of loan documentation / collateral title
  • Manage daily payment transactions in forms of check, ACH or Wire
  • Coordinates customer application volume and establishes daily follow up
  • Coordinates customer contracts packet and establishes daily follow up
  • Performs customer orientation and contract closings
  • Daily collections
  • Contact dealers and follow up daily
  • Floor units
  • Reconcile audits when necessary

 

New Business Development (15%)

  • Daily solicitation of customers for New loan transactions, both in person and over the phone
  • Make focused customer service calls to potential, existing DSC customers
  • Embrace and organize new products offered to branch operations.  Set goals for volume achieved.
  • Organize and track branch goals and progress with designed marketing projects and campaigns
  • Assist in application process, line modification, risk review and contract closings.


Collections and Loss Prevention (10%)

  • As volume dictates and as assigned, assist branch team in collections goals and efforts.

 

Miscellaneous duties (5%)

  • Duties unrelated to the core responsibilities may be assigned as volume and branch performance dictates.  Through team effort goals are achieved. Miscellaneous duties are short term with measurable objectives.
  • Must be computer literate - able to use Microsoft Office/Windows/Outlook.

 

Job responsibilities and time allocations listed are estimates and subject to change for this full time hourly position.

 

This needs to be a mature person that can demand payment, yet make production sales calls, both in person and over the phone.
