Job Description

 

This is an exciting hands-on brand management position for someone who is a brand-builder, a strategic leader, and is looking to make a significant impact on a business. We are looking for an innovative, passionate brand marketer who enjoys both high level strategic planning and branding but also gets satisfaction from rolling up their sleeves and making things happen.  We are a medium-sized, growing company in high growth food categories – Mediterranean and All Natural Foods. Backed by Nestle, Tribe Mediterranean Foods has two high potential brands – Tribe Hummus and Veggie Patch – and is looking for a successful brand manager to help take the company to the next level of growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop short and long term strategic plan for the Veggie Patch business.
  • Manage and initiate activities to grow the Veggie Patch brand by working with cross-functional partners including Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Development, and external Marketing Agencies.
  • Lead and support development and delivery of marketing plans.
  • Architect new product strategy and successfully launch best product ideas into market.
  • Lead creative development and execution of media campaigns, public relations, and promotional events by managing Tribe’s marketing partners.
  • Develop and execute online marketing programs.
  • Manage P&L and budgets.
  • Conduct competitive, consumer and category analysis.
  • Lead market research studies.
  • Lead packaging and graphic design projects.  

 

Skills & Experience Required

 

  • Three to 7 years Brand Management experience with at least 3 years in a highly respected CPG environment. Experience must include strategy, brand development, commercial marketing as well as creative development and execution.  
  • Branding, positioning and leading the creative development process.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to operate in a fast high growth environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills including forecasting, budgeting and program analysis.  
  • Strong track record of business and share building success.
  • MBA preferred. Food experience a plus.
  • Passionate about food, or being a “foodie” also a plus.
