Job Description
Senior Software Engineer SOA Integration Lead
Responsibilities: Provide analytical and technical expertise in the identification and solution of business problems including supporting business requirements and applications for various systems and platforms. Serve as a technical resource on projects, provide guidance for project team members, as well as interact with various levels of company management and outside vendors. Participate in all phases of the system development life cycle including creating technical designs, program code, test plans and verifying test results. Communicate project status on a regular basis to team members and management as appropriate, support external vendor relationships regarding software packages. Design and develop web and integration applications on Java based architectures using current industry standards (J2EE, JDBC, JSP, HTML). Perform other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: At least three (3) years of experience is required in analysis, design and implementation of application systems. Familiarity with application design and implementation of Java based web applications running on iSeries and AIX platforms is desired. Additionally, must have knowledge in project life cycle methodology, as well as strong communication and project coordination skills.
