Cytology Prep. Tech. Per Diem Reporting to the Cytology/Pathology Supervisor, assists with the daily operations of the Cytology, Histology, and Grossing Room areas and helps back-up the transcriptionists as requested. Ensures that Cytology specimens are accessioned properly, generates working drafts and billing slips, and operates the Cytyc Thin Prep Analyzer. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in lab environment preferred. Licensure and/or Certification: None required. Skills: ¾ Excellent customer service skills. ¾ Very good typing skills. ¾ Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. ¾ Computer proficiency. ¾ Ability to maintain confidential information.
