JOB SUMMARY

Works with the personal lines, transfer unit and Cochrane & Porter Agency staff to provide support for the submissions, rating, quoting and policy issuance process. The individual performs these activities for new business and remarketed renewals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The individual hired for this position will perform the following duties:

• Rates personal lines homeowner and automobile policies with a wide range of carriers


• Communicates with agents to obtain required information for the rating and issuance of policies


• Assists the personal lines account placer in obtaining optimum markets, pricing and coverage on personal lines submissions


• Enters client, policy rating and billing information in addition to processing policy changes, audits, binders and certificates of insurance


• Review, monitors and manages designated monthly renewal expiration lists and performs tasks to ensure timely and accurate renewals.


• Takes initiative and proactively endeavors to improve product knowledge and expertise through on-the-job and formalized industry training.
