In this position you will be a key member of the BAE Systems Supplier Partnerships Team in the areas of our Supplier Diversity Program and Contract closeout reconciliation.
Principal responsibilities include:
- Ensure BAE Systems suppliers Small Business Subcontracting plans meet US Government requirements; assist Subcontracts Administrators and their suppliers with corrective actions as necessary.
- Support Subcontract Administrators and proposal teams to develop winning approaches to meet special Small Business participation requirements; support the respective customer reporting requests on awarded programs
- Serve as principle Supplier Partnerships interface with Prime contracts, conduct ERP and Accounting System Research; develop necessary material cost and contract supporting documentation.
- Be the BAE Systems Electronic Solutions primary administrator on US Governments e-SRS (electronic Subcontracting Reporting system)
- Update and track electronic and paper files, and related documents
including preparation and analysis of monthly metric reporting.
- Assist Small Business Liaison officer with advocacy programs and monitoring
outreach efforts
- Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of related experience
- Must be detail oriented, organized, accurate, and possess excellent time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal interactive communication skills
- Proficient use of spreadsheet software and data administration
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and standard practices related to Federal Government subcontracting ideal
- Knowledge of Small Business Administration rules and regulations concerning small business subcontracting plan compliance helpful
- Business management related industry experience preferred
