Softscape has a great opportunity for a Technical Project Lead. This position is a key role for Softscape and, for the right candidate, can lead to significant career growth and opportunity. 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

·         Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Lead customer’s review and implementation of Softscape’s products.

·         Provide subject matter thought leadership in HCM/HRIS.

·         Conduct project /design reviews.

·         Provide accurate, well-written project documentation (Functional Specifications, Statement of work, Change Request Proposals, Test Scripts, etc.).

·         Complete projects on time and on budget.

·         Support Business Analysts, Account Management, Project Management and Proposal support

·         Obtain user requirements

·         Defining business workflow

·         Testing and verification of solution meeting functional specifications.

·         Project Scheduling, Estimating, Budgets and Resource Planning

·         Mentoring

·         Participate in Methodology development

·         Foster positive relationships with clients.

·         Consult with clients on technical issues and resolve technical problems to customer’s satisfaction.

·         Work with remote development teams for successful implementations.

·         Work with account managers in identifying sales opportunities.

 

 

Qualification

 

To be considered for this position you must have the following qualifications/experience.

 

  • 3+ years of successful enterprise software implementation, technical leadership and configuration experience.
  • BS in Computer Science with related experience
  • Strong customer written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience analyzing customer’s requirements to minimize need for customizations.
  • WEB technical/architecture knowledge and experience
  • Previous knowledge and use of MS SQL, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and HTML.
  • Experience working with customer’s senior management.
  • In-depth and broad working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Methodology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Strong working experience in MS Office products and screen-capture/graphics tools (e.g. SnagIt).

 

Preferred skills and experience:

 

  • Knowledge and experience in Human Capital Management.  
  • HCM software implementations experience.
