












Job Description:
Business Systems Analyst II – Sales Operations
Natick, MA
In this role you will support the Sales and Marketing reporting functions globally! We are seeking a driven business analyst to support sales operations at Boston Scientific.
Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Lead and facilitate in identifying areas for process improvement and establishing effective and efficient processes
Lead and facilitate the definition and documentation of detailed business requirements for project requests
Work with the business, the development and the quality assurance team members to ensure requirements are complete and understood
Participate in application design and prototype reviews
Create procedural documentation such as process flow diagrams, user guides, job aids, and any other reference materials to support training execution
Drive the testing and implementation of business applications by defining the Information System test plan and coordinating project resources, objectives and environments.
Provide ongoing user assistance and communication to support business applications
Prepare and present reports and status information to management and business partners
Perform cross-functional impact assessments of requested system and process changes
Participate in cross-functional Information System initiatives
Manage the system change request process
Prepare and deliver training materials for business applications as needed
Partner with or lead internal and external technical resources
Participate in the vendor selection and assessment process
Maintain ongoing relationships with external business partners
Consistently follow a defined system development life cycle methodology
Provides expertise with developing solutions that will meet all the business and organizational needs.
Act as a conduit for questions and issues between IS and business.
Provide user assistance and application support as needed.
Assist with the production of training materials (e.g., handouts, CD’s, etc.).
Deliver training and maintain attendance records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus 2-5 years of business analyst experience
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environment
Mobile Application experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience facilitating the gathering and documenting of business requirements
Strong communication skills
Self starter with strong, proactive work ethic
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment
Demonstrate success supporting multiple simultaneous projects
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project
