RI based commercial developer is looking for an attorney to add to its in-house legal staff.  Immediate opening for a licensed RI attorney with 3 or more years experience in litigation including at least 2 years experience in state receiverships and federal bankruptcy proceedings.  The ideal candidate should have experience in municipal taxation and state and municipal permitting and land use law.  Banking and lending regulation experience a plus.  Must be a self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities include: preparing and handling trial motions, pleadings, depositions, court appearances, and trials for developer; preparing and handling state receivership and/or Chap. 7 or Chap.11 Bankruptcy petitions; assisting in permitting and land use issues and real estate taxation matters.
