R&D Technician

Acushnet Company, home to the leading brands in golf (Titleist, FootJoy and Cobra Golf) has an exciting opportunity for an R&D Technician on the golf ball development team. In this position, the incumbent will be involved with generating new golf ball products by conducting experiments and record/collect data; operate equipment related to the manufacturing of golf balls; working closely with the manufacturing organization to complete trials and tests; conduct various testing procedures and complete data entry, graphing and routine computer operations.
The qualified candidate will possess college level coursework in engineering or chemistry is required with an Associates degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience working with rubber, plastics, and coatings or testing procedures in a manufacturing company is preferred. Basic mechanical competency or lab experience is preferred. Must possess good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products including spreadsheets; must be a team player with good people skills; corrected vision; accurate color vision and valid driver’s license.
