Our Regulation and Pricing Department within the Electric Distribution & Generation function is seeking an individual who is a quick learner, detailed oriented and can adhere to reporting and/or filing deadlines while working in a team environment.  The selected candidate for this Analyst position will provide support to management and/or other senior-level analysts in preparing electric revenue requirements analysis.  The Analyst will assist in the preparation of cost of service studies and associated discovery responses, periodic regulatory earnings reports, storm and environmental fund administration and reporting, periodic regulatory return calculations and any other ad hoc analysis as required.  In addition, you will also respond to interrogatories and submit compliance filings for regulatory approval and you may be required to support testimony as the Company’s expert witness in various regulatory proceedings. 


Occasional travel will be required in this position; some travel may require overnight stays.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other closely related field with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience required; advanced degree is desired.
  • Utility, regulatory and/or accounting experience is desired.
  • Proficient with spreadsheet and word processing applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Must be able to interpret regulatory orders in terms of precedent setting directives which will affect the Company. 
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and confidence in interacting with regulators and Company management.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail as work product is often provided to regulators in support of Company's revenue streams or settlement reporting requirements.
