We market and sell an internet-based software application and layer it with website design, development, management, and search marketing services to deliver interactive marketing and communication solutions that attract, engage and serve affluent consumers. Strong market demand, rapid growth, and aggressive new business development strategy have combined to create a full time Search Marketing Specialist role reporting directly to the Director of Technical Services.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must possess a strong grasp of both organic and PPC search marketing techniques along with a proven track record. The position's primary responsibility is to implement ethical search engine optimization and PPC campaigns for our exclusive clientele.
Core areas include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Keyword research & development
- Optimized title & description tag development (copywriting skills are a plus)
- SERP reporting and explanation of report to clients
- Site map creation & modification
- Sitemap.xml creation and submission
- Occasionally assist account executives in a pre-sales role to provide in-depth explanation of SEO service offering
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to assist in special projects for department as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Ethical SEO techniques
- Knowledge of relevant software packages including Wordtracker, Site Map Builder.NET & Web Position Pro.
- Intermediate to Expert knowledge & proven track record with PPC campaigns specifically Google AdWords
- Expert Knowledge of HTML
- Experience optimizing within a CMS
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be courteous, positive and have a professional demeanor
- Exceptional organizational skills
Desired:
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Computer Science
- Copywriting skills
