Our EBSCOhost Services Engineering group is currently looking to hire a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.

The Sr. QA Engineer will assess the overall product quality and compliance with detailed technical requirements and specifications.

Essential functions include:

• Write and maintain test cases and test plans for enterprise-scale systems and applications.
• Mentor junior QA Engineers in current QA practices and procedures.
• Assess Product Quality and compliance with requirements and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot product errors/problems and assist developers with reproducing defects.
• Assist with product scheduling and product planning.
• Execute and maintain test automation across multiple products.
• Develop scripts to assist with daily QA tasks such as data tear-down/setup and environment setup.
• Assist with back-end database testing including verifying changes/additions to stored procedures.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or 5 years related work experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Software QA Engineer in a multi-platform environment using various web technologies.
• 3+ years experience testing relational database applications using a SQL Query Language.
• 2+ years functional automation experience using tools such as QTest, SilkTest, LoadRunner, and QTP.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3+ years experience back-end testing of MsSQL databases
• 1+ years experience with build tools such as Hudson, Ant, Visual Studio
