SEO MANAGER

Life123.com, a Mindspark Company, is seeking an experienced, motivated, self-starting SEO Manager to join their dedicated team.  This is the right job for you if have at least one year of SEO experience and you are results-driven and passionate about researching, analysis and problem solving.  In this role, you will report to the SEO Director as well as work with the SEO team to drive traffic  to the web site.  Additionally, you’ll help validate content direction for the editorial staff.   If you’re an independent thinker who works well with a team, has strong organizational skills, and will bring time-tested  and innovative strategies to the table, you’ll be a success at Life123.
 
Responsibilities

• Day to day responsibility for the search-engine ranking of articles contained within individual top-level categories (Verticals) at Life123
• Responsible for identifying and recommending the purchase of content that meets company value standards revealed through in-depth keyword research, performing detailed competitive analysis, and CPC research
• Leverage proprietary analytics to evaluate areas of growth potential and identify opportunities for better search engine performance
• Assess  listing shifts as they occur; speculate on up-and-coming trends,   revise strategies as needed
• Implement inbound linking strategies for the purpose of elevating rank

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience with search engine optimization
• Minimum one year experience working with editorial content
• Proven experience with keyword research, data mining tools, CPC data, page rank, and competitive analysis
• Can demonstrate a strong understanding and experience with page rank and inbound linking practices
• Possesses a full understanding of advanced SEO on-page optimization techniques with measurable results 
• Has experience in content writing for SEO.  Understands meta-tags and basic html mark-up language
• Basic working knowledge of a content management system
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Instant Messenger
