Job Summary:
The Interface Programmer brings experience, precision, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit to the creation of applications, services, databases and interfaces that exchanges and stores data from and to disparate systems.
Qualifications:
BS preferred.  Advanced degree is preferred. Two to five years of experience in programming, eGate interface engine, Monk, JCAPS, JAVA, SQL, XML, TCP/IP analytical skills and network protocols.  Understanding of Patient Identity Management Systems, i.e. Initiate Systems; Understanding of HL7; Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 or higher; Working knowledge of application building and screen scripting via a tool set like Summit Scripting; Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects, including client expectations, schedules, and budgets, from inception to completion; Knowledge of code management, build process, testing; Ability to troubleshoot and debug your own and/or team code; Coordinate quality assurance testing; Ensure integrity and quality of all deliverables; Strong organizational skills; Ability to envision creative ways to leverage ideas and technologies; Keen organizational skills, time management and attention to detail a must; Strong documentation skills; Experience with project plans and business requirements; Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast paced environment; Excellent communication skills and effective presentation skills.
