We are currently looking for a Field Interviewer for a 9 month assignment.  In that position, the Field Interviewer will:

·        Conducting in-person interviews with primary care physicians throughout Massachusetts;

·        Driving to interview appointments throughout the state of Massachusetts.  Mileage will be reimbursed in accordance to NERI policy.  Successful candidates will have a valid Driver License, Reliable Transportation and Valid Auto Insurance;

·        Administering standardized close-ended (quantitative) and open-ended (qualitative) interview questions to physicians;

·        Communicating with the field coordinator about data collection process;

·        Using an in-house electronic data capture system to access scheduling information and enter data;

·        Managing laptop data entry and backup paper interviews, including audio recording and DVD display.

Qualifications:

·        BA/BS in a related field plus 6 years experience or MPH/MA/MHA plus 2 years experience;

·        Ability to administer standardized and open-ended in-person interviews in a professional environment;

·        Ability to acquire sufficient working knowledge of topic area to effectively conduct qualitative portion of interview.  Knowledge of diabetes is desirable;

·        Excellent organizational and communication skills;

·        Technology skills appropriate to on-line data collection;

·        Previous experience with medical professionals and interviewing is highly desirable.
