We are looking for an experienced telecom professional with 5-7 years experience in circuit design and provisioning in a fiber environment, for a 6 month contract with potential to go PERM.

Job Duties:

 

1. Ensure proper circuit design, service design configuration and document of all product. Determine the best route for customer circuits based on available capacity and create Circuit Layout Records

2. Creates and maintains Circuit Layout Records (CLR’s); the record which identified in detail port and timeslots assignment information for each circuit.

3. Ensure all circuits are provision/configure correctly in EMS over Sonet and DWDM networks.

4. Create ISR’s in Order Management System (OMS) to trigger network engineering activities to meet the customer and/or network requirements.

5. Evaluates and advises Network Engineer and Sale Engineer on the practicality of new network design, network changes, additions, and moves

6. Reviews the networks for traffic inefficiencies and grooms as necessary to allow for more efficient flow of traffic.

7. Provide 2nd level technical support on circuit design, configuration, emergency and disaster recovery circuit re-route.
