The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for the implementation of Physical Therapy treatment programs to Home Care patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. the PTA collaborates with other medical and ancillary personnel to carry out treatment programs and rehabilitate patients to their fullest extent. The candidate must have an associates degree as a PTA, be licensed and have a minimum of two years experience. This is a part-time, day position. Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island is a 294 bed teaching and research facility affiliated with the Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University as well as affiliations with all the schools of nursing and allied health in Rhode Island and the surrounding areas.
