Digital Public Relations Manager

This Digital Public Relations Manager will be responsible for strategic development and implementation of communications efforts including elements of public relations, internal communications, and parent communications with a focus on using digital media (including blogs, social media networks, video, etc.) to achieve company and departmental communications and public relations goal.


 


Responsibilities include:


·         Develop and execute proactive public relations campaigns with digital and traditional media.


·         Establish and maintain relationships with journalist bloggers, parenting bloggers and other digital news and information sources targeting families, early education professionals and HR/work/life professionals.


·         Develop and implement strategies to enhance internal and external communications using digital resources.


·         Serve as a back-up to the Vice President of Communications as required.


·         Support Bright Horizons child care centers, schools and client companies to develop customized traditional and digital media relations and parent communications plans to address constituent needs.


·         Edit and manage production for video projects.






Requirements:

·         5 years of professional experience


·         Bachelors degree 


·         Strong proficiency in digital communications, blogger relations, social media


·         Strong writing skills 


·         Experience in media relations, digital communications and corporate communications


·         Video production and/or editing experience 


·         Strong customer service skills


·         Applicants must be currently authorized to accept employment in the US.
