Sr SAP ABAP Systems Analyst

Position Summary:  Provides technical expertise in the implementation of SAP software systems for this growing e-retailer.   Using ABAP programming language, codes SAP modules and complex functions.  Creates specialized reports, designs forms for SAP modules.  Modifies system screens to provide default values and eliminate unnecessary fields using transaction variants. Coordinates with business analysts to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures to information technology. Defines technical requirements for on-going systems maintenance and future functionality. Provides technical support to users on matters related to the programming of SAP modules. Prepares comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including specifications, test conditions, test plans, test data, etc.  Maintains collaborative working relationships with process owners and vendors.  Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to conduct meetings with business users to gather requirements for analysis, proposes “feasible and best solution” recommendations and designs those objects.  Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.

Requirements:

·  8+ years of ABAP experience in analyzing, designing, documenting, coding and testing.  Must be a team player to resolve issues and propose best solutions.  Position requires 4 to 5 full lifecycle implementation experience and >3 years of production support experience. At least 2 project implementation experience in SAP AFS 6.0 and higher versions required.

·  8+ years experience in Dialogue Programming, Module Pool Programming and Function Module Programming by using ABAP Objects techniques.

·  Experience in creating Interactive Reports, Classical reports, ALV (Standard and ABAP-Objects), extensive experience working with Data Dictionary Objects.

·  Very fluent exposure in configuring RFC’s between SAP and other interface systems for communicating data in the form of Function Module structures.

·  Must have good experience in configuring and coding SAP and Java based applications with SAP BAPI technology, mastery in utilizing SAP BAPI’s.

·  8+ years of experience in coding User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdi’s and Enhancement Options and possess a very strong understanding on impact of these enhancements in system.

·  5+ years of experience in designing layouts, coding and maintaining Print forms by using SMARTFORMS, SAP Scripts, Adobe forms(Interactive forms, Standard forms).

·   6+ years of experience in using Data Migration(Conversion) tools and techniques such as LSMW, BDC, CATT/eCATT, Data Migration Workbench and some third party tools such as Winshuttle….

·  5+ years of experience in using ABAP Objects while designing various SAP application objects.

·  2+ years of experience in designing WM – RF Console programming, designing Bar Coded shipping and packing labels.

·  2+ years of experience in designing, configuring and coding SAP Workflow objects.

·  6+ years of experience in designing, configuring and coding various Interfacing Systems using ALE, EDI, IDOC – Mapping and Programming. Project experience using SAP – PI / XI middleware mapping and coding with other Interfacing Systems a plus.

SAP Functional Exposure Preferred in following areas:

·   AFS - SD Pricing Procedures, various order management, delivery and billing scenarios.

·  AFS - MM Material Management, grids, catalog; various order management, vendor delivery and billing scenarios.

·  FICO and Warehouse Management modules preferred.

·  Functional knowledge on SAP CRM module and hands on experience on CRM Middle ware technologies.

BS/BA in Computer Information Systems or related discipline, MS/MA preferred.
Certification preferred.
