Father Bills & MainSpring, a non-profit housing and homeless provider is seeking a part-time Accounting Assistant to join their accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for a take-charge individual to make a major impact in a very busy and expanding agency.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing support to the finance staff within the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Other responsibilities would include copying, filing, billing support, updating spreadsheets, posting cash, maintaining files, managing and updating forms and other projects as needed.
This person must have good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and the ability to learn new software applications easily. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary. The capability to adjust to an increased workflow at times and flexibility and responsibility are a must.
Previous office experience required. Candidates should be pro-active and able to work efficiently and independently in a fast paced environment.
Part-time position, 20-25 hours per week
