Primarily through telephone and email contact, the Inside Sales Representative will identify sales opportunities and develop new accounts, determine appropriate solutions for prospects, close sales for HiSoftware product line and pre-qualify, and assist with sales for the Public Sector Enterprise Account team. The incumbent will focus their attention on Federal, State and Local Government and Education markets both in a direct and indirect (channel) sales model.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop new customer accounts by marketing company product line via e-mail or direct mail and telephone through identified Resellers, and direct to target accounts.
· Identify opportunities for customer development and revenue growth
· Pre-qualify Enterprise prospects for Public Sector Enterprise Account team
· Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment
· Turn product inquiries into sales and up sell when possible
· Assist Public Sector Enterprise Account team with a variety of Administrative tasks including creation of Quotes, scheduling demonstrations and meetings, following up on quoted enterprise opportunities.
· Assist customers with product selection, pricing and payment method
· Work closely with HiSoftware public sector resellers to provide updates, price quotes and follow up open opportunities.
· Record gathered information into CRM System while moving customers along the sales cycle.
· Maintain professionalism and proper etiquette through all forms of communication
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
· Over 2 years of experience in inside sales and or tele-sales.
· Ability to conduct business over the phone involving prospecting, selling, and servicing new and existing customers. (Cold Calling)
· Must have excellent phone skills and computer knowledge
· Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients and resellers alike.
· Organized and detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
· Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
· Proven ability to communicate with customers, exchange information and review/analyze customer’s requirements
· Knowledge of MS Office applications
· Military service and or Government Sales Experience is a plus, bachelors degree is preferred
