MEDITECH is looking for staff to provide support for our Health Care Information System. Individuals will work with new technologies. MEDITECH has several different programming opportunities in customer support and implementation. This is an entry-level position, and training will be provided in both our application and platform technologies. For proper assessment of your technical abilities, a problem solving analytical quiz will be administered to candidates who are selected to interview.
Responsibilities:
* Working with MEDITECH specialist staff and customers to address issues
* Troubleshooting, researching and coding issues for customer systems
* Designing and coding software enhancements to customer specification
* Working on a variety of technical projects
* Communicating with development staff and mentoring co-workers
* Coordinating and delivering current software and new releases to customers
Qualifications:
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
* Strong desire to learn
Education & Experience:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science or computer course work in related field (Math/MIS/IS). Knowledge of a high-level programming language (C, C++) is a plus.
