Sr. Technical Consultant – Healthcare Software Solutions
The continued success and rapid growth of our company has created another need for a customer oriented Technical Consultant to join our core product implementation team.  You will take ownership of translating business requirements into technical specifications and drive the technical delivery schedule of our Care Management software solutions.  Address all technical aspects of an implementation to include sizing of required hardware, database set-up, redundancy, back-up and recovery, etc.   Use your past experience developing software solutions to lead software development resources through the implementation.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience with Complex Multi-Platform Technology Solutions
  
• Experience with Standard J2EE Application Architectures & Frameworks.
  
• Material Understanding and Appreciation of the Software Development Lifecycle
  
• Proven Team Leadership and Mentoring Skills
  
• Pragmatic Problem Solving Skills
  
• Healthcare Industry experience strongly preferred (familiar with 278 Health Data Exchange a big plus)
  
• Ability to Gain Client Confidence
  
• Strength using MS SQL, Java, XML, HTML
  
• Experience with Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Flex,
  
• Experience with MSSQL and Oracle
  
• Work with our Business Development team in a pre-sales capacity to transform our client’s business problems into comprehensive technology solutions.
  
• Work with our delivery teams to design and implement technology solutions.
  
• Generate documentation in both the pre and post sales process. This includes, but is not limited to, generating Statements of Work, Client Presentations, Technical Requirements and Technical Design Documentation.
  
• Work with the Project Managers to build work plans and manage technical teams to those work plans during solution construction.
  
• Act as a billable resource on client engagements performing such duties as requirements gathering, performing architectural design, developing business cases, project planning, product installation and configuration and software development.
  
  
  
  • 5+ years overall IT experience required
    
  • 4+ years Java Programming experience (EJBs, Java Servlets and JSP)
    
  • 3+ years experience Web Architecture
    
  • 2+ years consulting experience
    
  • 2+ years experience generating technical documentation
    
  • Technical Architect Desired Experience
    
  • 2+ years JBOSS Application Server
    
  • 1+ years Services Oriented Architecture Design and Implementation
    
  • 1+ year Security Technology (LDAP, PKI, etc…)
    
  • 1+ year Enterprise Integration (mainframes, messaging middleware, etc.)
