ConVerge Diagnostic Services is located on the beautiful Northshore of Boston in Peabody, MA.  We are conveniently situated between Route One and Interstate 95 an easy drive south from New Hampshire or Maine.  Only 15 minutes from Boston and all its historical attractions.

We have an opening for a HL7 EMR Interface Specialist.  You will be responsible for all aspects of interfacing between the laboratory system and clients systems.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Requests and schedules projects with client's system vendors
  
• 
  
  Schedules and manages expectations and resources with our clients
  
  
• 
  
   Defines, develops, tests and implements new interfaces between Corepoint (formerly Neotools) interface enegine and client EMR and Hospital/laboratory systems.
  
  
• 
  
  Configures and tests systems to system links, manages vendor resource to establish VPN tunnels
  
  
• 
  
  Prepares detailed system documentation for interfaces created.
  
  
• 
  
  Tests and troubleshoots all aspects of data transactions between LIS and client systems
  
  
• 
  
  Provides ongoing technical support and guidance to clients post implementations of interfaces
  
  
• 
  
  Provides after hours support of interfaces in emergencies
  
  
• 
  
  Assists in preparation of client documentation to be used in pre-contract and post contract discussions
