For more information, go to www.kindredhealthcare.com . Job Duties: Communication with Area Case Managers and Insurance Collections Specialists to address billing issues. Reviews UB billing across multiple districts to ensure appropriate billing being completed for insurance patients. Completing ancillary billing charges for insurance payers, including pharmacy items and other ancillary items as needed. Completing billing corrections, using appropriate revenue and HCPCS codes to ensure proper reimbursement. Review of insurance contracts related to use of correct billing practices for medical stays, pharmacy items, outpatient therapy, etc. Assists in processing insurance claims: simple corrections, processing and tracking of claims, following through until payment. Follow correct procedures for billing and corrected claims processing across multiple insurance payers. Job Requirement Familiarity with insurance companies and fluent with conversations with insurance representatives Preferable insurance billing experience Computer Skills-fluent with Outlook, Word, Excel-use of spreadsheets Highly organized individual Excellent communication skills Eager to learn new tasks, flexible Excellent time management skills
