Under the direction of the Item Processing Manager performs all functions necessary for the processing of daily mail transactions. Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.
Sort mail.
Processes all bank by mail transactions, i.e. deposits, withdrawals, loans, mortgage payments, and incidental transactions involving incoming mail.
Provides comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer service.
Refers sales opportunities to other departments or bank affiliates in support of established objectives.
Reconciles and balances daily teller totals. ·Assists with Item Processing duties as needed.
Refers sales opportunities to other departments or bank affiliates in support of established objectives.
Ensures full compliance with the Bank’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.
Performs related and unrelated duties as may be required.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of teller training program.
Must possess at least intermediate technology skills, including knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet applications.
Good interpersonal communication skills and thorough knowledge of all Teller functions.
