JOB Responsibilities

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyor systems; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

Operate and observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of packaged products to standards

Adjust machine components according to processing requirements.

Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, troubleshoot smaller machine issues and report major issues to supervisor.

Count and record finished and rejected packaged items.

  APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent

Mechanical troubleshooting skills as well as maintenance skills needed

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
