Inside Sales Coordinator ~ Industrial Instrumentation

Inside sales coordinator for high quality industrial instruments and controls sold direct to large industrial corporations and through a network of local representatives and international distributors. Professional value added selling for process improvement and environmental compliance applications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead generation, opportunity and quote follow up over the phone


• Relationship building with end customers and sales channels


• Strategic sales phone prospecting projects (by industry, company, region etc)


• Direct quoting and quote support


• Maintenance and organization of sales database


• Forecast and lead status reporting


• Sales and administrative support to field sales engineers


• Occasional field sales travel for training and sales channel relations

Requirements:

• Proven sales skills from lead generation to closing orders


• 3-7+ years related experience (must have prior industrial or technical sales experience)


• B.S. in engineering preferred but not required


• Interest and ability to learn a technical product and market quickly and comprehensively


• Proficiency with a CRM system or sales database


• Strong computer skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Flexible, positive team player required for growing small company environment
